How we protect your information

1. General and Identification of the Entities
"Yitron Finance" is a trade name covering two independent activities operating from the same office at 251 HaHistadrut Blvd. (Visenter), Haifa. Each activity is carried out by a separate legal entity, and the relevant entity is identified in this policy and on the service pages of the website:
- Insurance, pension and financial services: provided by Keenan Amsalem, licensed pension insurance agent, licence no. L-00133833, registered dealer. This activity covers life and health insurance, pension funds, provident funds, study funds, managers' insurance, general (elementary) insurance and financial advice falling under the licence.
- Tax refunds, realisation of employee rights, realisation of medical rights (mazor.ai) and mortgage brokerage: provided by Ari-El Financing Solutions Ltd., company no. 516442944. This company is not an insurance agency and does not hold a pension insurance agent's licence; its activity falls outside the scope of the Supervision of Financial Services (Advice, Marketing and Pension) Law, 5765-2005.
This privacy policy describes how both entities collect, use and store personal information of users of the website and of our digital services, in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations.
2. The Digital Services Covered by This Policy
This policy applies to each of the following:
- Our website, including all of its pages and forms.
- "The Personal Area" (Insure) — an online service that brings together the insurance and pension portfolio of the client's household, available in a browser and as an installable app. "Insure" is the consumer brand of the insurance agency activity described in section 1. Section 4 below is devoted to this service, which includes retrieving information from external sources.
- The digital signing system used to sign documents and agreements with the client.
- mazor.ai — a medical rights realisation service operated by Ari-El Financing Solutions Ltd.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information, according to the service the client approaches:
- Information actively provided: full name, national ID number, date of birth, ID card issue date, phone number, email address, home address, and any additional information you provide through the contact form or in direct communication with us.
- Photograph of the ID card: when a new client opens the Personal Area, for identity verification only — see section 4.
- Information about household members: names, and the ID numbers and birth/issue dates of a spouse and children, insofar as provided in order to display the family insurance portfolio. Whoever provides this declares that they are entitled to do so; for adults, see the arrangement in section 4.
- Insurance and pension information: policies, products, insurers, premiums, coverages, beneficiaries, accumulated balances and management fees — both from the agency's systems and from external sources as detailed in section 4.
- Financial and employment information: in the context of tax refund and rights realisation services — payslips, employment data, Form 106, annual returns and any document you provide for handling your request.
- Medical information: in the context of the medical rights realisation service (mazor.ai) — medical documents, diagnoses, medical committee protocols and test results. This information is held as a database at a high security level under the Privacy Protection (Information Security) Regulations, 5777-2017.
- Correspondence and requests: messages, enquiries and service requests you send through the Personal Area or the website, including files you attach to them.
- Records of consent: the time consent or a signature was given, the IP address it was given from, and identification of the browser/device. This record is an inseparable part of the validity of the consent.
- Usage data in the Personal Area: sign-in times, and information about the screens viewed and the actions taken in the service — see section 4.4.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, visit times and referral source.
- Cookies: cookie files to improve the browsing experience, for statistical analysis and for marketing.
4. The Personal Area — Har HaBituach and the Pension Clearing House
The Personal Area shows the client the insurance and pension portfolio of their household. Some of the information comes from the agency's systems, and some is retrieved on your behalf from external sources — and only after your express consent. This section sets out how.
4.1 Sign-in and identity verification
- Sign-in is by phone number and a one-time code (OTP) sent to it by SMS. The act of signing in constitutes acceptance of this policy and of the terms of use.
- A client with no existing record must provide a name, ID number and birth/issue dates, and attach a photograph of their ID card. The photograph is processed for identity verification only — comparing the details provided with those on the card, and checking the validity of the ID number. It is kept in the client's record as evidence that verification took place and is not used for any other purpose.
- Adults verify themselves. A spouse or a child over 18 is never verified by another person: a personal link is sent to them and they identify themselves from their own phone, with a one-time code and a photograph of their own ID card. A minor under 18 is added by their parent.
4.2 The consent that enables retrieval — the Insurance Appendices
Retrieval of information from external sources is conditional on your signature of the Insurance Appendices — an authorisation document signed digitally in the Personal Area. Without this signature no retrieval takes place. The signature is time-limited, and once it expires a fresh signature is required. You may receive the signed document by email and review it at any time.
4.3 The external sources
- "Har HaBituach" — the registry of the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority. Relying on the signed authorisation, we approach the registry on your behalf and receive the list of insurance and savings products registered in your name and in the names of the household members you added, including companies, products, policy numbers and start dates. The request is made using the ID number and its issue date — which is why a family member whose details are missing simply cannot be checked.
- The pension clearing house. Relying on the same authorisation, we receive your pension savings data: funds, accumulated balances, management fees, investment tracks, beneficiaries and contribution status.
- The information received is stored in your client record, displayed to you in the Personal Area, and used by the agent to provide the service and tailor recommendations.
- You are entitled to withdraw the authorisation at any time by contacting the details at the end of this document. Withdrawal stops future retrievals and does not in itself delete information already collected — for deletion, see section 12.
4.4 Usage records and proactive contact
We record your use of the Personal Area — sign-in times, the screens viewed and the actions taken. We are open with you about what this is for: it serves to improve the service, and it also allows a professional from our team who calls you back to know what you were interested in, so that the conversation is relevant. Contact with a professional is opened only after your express confirmation on screen, and never as a result of viewing alone. Such contact places you under no obligation.
4.5 Notifications
If you permit it in your browser or device, we may send you notifications (push) about updates to your portfolio and requests. The permission can be withdrawn at any time from your device or browser settings, and withdrawing it does not affect your use of the service.
5. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools for three purposes, and in all of them it matters to us that you know what is sent and what standing the result has:
- ID card verification: automatic reading of the details from the photograph of the card and comparison with the details you provided.
- Recommendations and explanations: analysis of your insurance and pension mix in order to point out coverages worth examining. For this purpose only portfolio data is sent to the analysis engine — product types, companies, premiums and household composition — and not national ID numbers, not bank details and not identifying documents. A recommendation needs no identifiers.
- Smart assistant (chat): the Personal Area includes a digital assistant that answers questions about your file. To provide an answer it processes your portfolio data (products, companies, premiums, savings data and household composition), and the conversations are stored. These conversations may be reviewed by a professional on our behalf, for the purpose of providing the service only. The assistant may also give you, for your convenience, phone numbers or links to services operated by your own insurance companies (such as locating a physician, an arrangement garage or rapid diagnosis) — these services are operated by those companies and are subject to their terms and privacy policies.
An automated recommendation is not a decision and is not advice. It is presented to you as material for consideration only; every actual decision is made by you, accompanied by a licensed professional. You are not subject to a decision taken by automated processing alone, and you may request human review of any finding.
6. Database Registrars

Such a transfer is carried out solely with your express consent, for the purpose for which the information was provided, and in accordance with section 2(9) of the Privacy Protection Law. No automatic transfer of information takes place without your knowledge.

10. Information Security
We employ advanced security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access restricted to authorised personnel by role, logging of access and actions, and the use of security protocols (SSL/TLS). Sign-in to the Personal Area is protected by a one-time code sent to your phone, and permission to view a portfolio is limited to your own household. Databases containing medical data are managed at a high security level in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Information Security) Regulations, 5777-2017.
11. Data Retention
Personal information will be retained as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Documents relating to pension insurance activity will be retained for at least 7 years in accordance with the requirements of the Pension Advice Law and its regulations. Signed authorisation documents and records of consent are retained for as long as the authorisation is in force and for the limitation period thereafter, since they are the evidence that the action was lawfully taken.
12. User Rights
In accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, you have the following rights in respect of both databases:
